Costume design for INSIDERS, a performance at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, directed by Tamar Katz.

Insiders is a site specific performance piece, inspired by the entrance hall of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. This is the third “chapter” in the event series the “live square”, curated by Ruthy Director.

Three performers take over the the central square, activating each other and the audience according to the rules of the game they’re playing on their game board, that mimics the space they’re in. for more information about the performance

The creative direction:

The performers should look like a “mafia” clique on a day off, need to be domineering, but also physically exposed (revealing skin/underwear). The clothes (like the board game) should echo the space the performers are inhabiting. Work with the space’s color scheme, and reflect the space’s geometric construction.
